How an inspection works

  1. Press Start new inspection below, or just say "start a new inspection" on the Inspect screen.
  2. Walk the house and talk. Hold the blue button and say what you see: "master bath, two dead outlets, caulk the tub about fourteen feet white, toilet runs, replace the forty-two inch ceiling fan brushed nickel." Name the room once and everything after it lands there.
  3. Say the numbers out loud - how many, how many feet, what size, what colour. Blinds and doors want width by height: "thirty-four by sixty-two".
  4. Say "scratch that" to drop the last thing, or "delete all of this" to start the room over. Side conversation is ignored, not written down.
  5. Finish on Selections - every open choice in one list, with a whole-house finish you can apply in one tap.
  6. Then Schedule - drop the work on days and put a name on it. The crew opens Work List and sees only their tasks, with no prices.

Project & pricing

Markup is what the customer pays over your cost. Crew adjustment moves every catalog labor price on this job up or down - use it when a crew is cheaper or dearer than the book.
